NE Medical Center T station is across the street and the property is two blocks from Boston Common and Back Bay. The hotel is one block from fine dining, entertainment venues and shopping at Downtown Crossing, Copley Place and Newbury Street.
Hotel Features. The Doubletree Hotel Boston Downtown is the city's first hotel to strongly incorporate elements of feng shui, the ancient Chinese art of arranging surroundings to attract positive life energy. Artwork and colors were carefully chosen for their energy, and every floor features potted plants and trickling waterfalls. On site restaurant, Wisteria, serves Pan Asian cuisine and the Vines Caf� features a la carte dishes for breakfast and lunch. The hotel offers complimentary wireless Internet access in the lobby. The hotel features a self service, 24 hour business center and 2,000 square feet of meeting space. Hotel guests receive cookies upon check in and are offered complimentary access to the fitness facility adjacent to the hotel. The facility features an indoor pool, full basketball court, two floors of Nautilus equipment free weights, whirlpool and aerobics room.
Guestrooms. All 267 guestrooms include Asian influenced d�cor and offer two telephones and wireless Internet access. Coffeemakers are provided. Many guestrooms offer views of downtown and Back Bay.
Expert Tip. Guests won't want to miss visiting Chinatown, located adjacent to the hotel. Look for the traditional gate surrounded by lions at the intersection of Beach Street and Surface Road.
