The Pinehill Inn is located in Oregon, Ill., one half mile from the Rock River. Conover Square, which contains an eclectic mix of unique shops within an old piano factory, is less than one mile away. Lowden State Park is less than three miles from the inn, and offers fishing, boating, hiking and picnicking along the Rock River.
Surrounded by century old pine trees, this 1874 Victorian features an original rose colored window and a wrap around veranda. Full, complimentary breakfasts are served each morning in the dining room, and water and soft drinks are available. Wireless Internet access and fax services are also complimentary. The inn's first parlor showcases the owner's art collection, and features pocket doors, an original fireplace and a sterling silver chandelier. The second parlor, which offers access to the veranda, features a marble fireplace. Pets are not allowed at this property.
The Pinehill Inn offers six guest accommodations with private bathrooms. Beds are topped with memory foam mattresses. Cable television and DVD players are included. Select rooms feature jetted tubs, working marble fireplaces and 12 foot ceilings. The Somerset Room features peach and dark blue d?cor, and is furnished with a four poster canopy bed.
