Location. The Quail Lodge Resort is located two miles from Galante Vineyards in Carmel, Calif. The hotel is four miles from shopping at Carmel Plaza. Point Lobos State Reserve is five miles from the hotel.
Hotel Features. With three tennis courts, Quail Lodge offers unlimited play from dawn to dusk. Bocce courses, an outdoor pool, indoor lap pool and spa tub are provided. Hiking, biking and horse riding trails are offered along the Santa Lucia Mountains. The Wellness Center at Quail Lodge features personal trainers and fitness classes, yoga and meditation. Expert Tip. Hit the off road. The Quail Lodge, in partnership with Land Rover, offers the Land Rover Experience Driving School. Guided by a qualified instructor, participants make steep descents down a two track trail, climb piles of logs and navigate tight, hairpin turns on the off road course near the Quail Lodge Resort. There are more than 80 acres of hills, descents, wooded trails, sand traps and rocks to explore. Lessons and programs range from one hour to multiple days.
